Jean-Baptiste Révillon, born on January 8, 1819 in Paris, where he died on December 23, 1869 is a French sculptor. The eldest son of Jean-Baptiste Révillon (died October 28, 1856 in Paris) and Pauline Malot (1799-1883), a bronze medal maker, Jean-Baptiste Révillon has for his brother and sisters: sculptor Jean Aimé Révillon In 1823), Eugénie Pauline Révillon (1825-1866), and Catherine Amélie Révillon (born in 1832). He is a pupil of Jean-Jacques Feuchère, and exhibits at the Salon de Paris from 1840 until his death. On January 9, 1847, he married Marie Pauline Ernestine Pasquier (around 1826-1872) at the Church of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary in Paris. She gave him two boys: Ernest Auguste Révillon (1854-1937), also a sculptor, and Paul Émile Révillon (born in 1860).
